<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">The others are either runtime failure or pathological or unsafe. I think that the <tt>SecurityEnhancedHttpClientSupport</tt> shouldn't really produce a factory for those cases. It's not that you theoretically couldn't wire some of those other cases up for some reason, but we should not make it easy or accidental.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">So I think the only changes needed here in the support class are 1) if server TLS via trust engine is not to be supported, toggle the <tt>trustEngineRequired</tt> flag false on the factory 2) add a new factory method for no TrustEngine support (standard JSSE trust) + our client TLS.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">So in the end, we don't directly expose the <tt>trustEngineRequired</tt> flag via the support class, it's already implicit in the existing <tt>supportTrustEngine</tt> arg.</p>
