<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Hmm. I see your logic, but I can't think of any permissions relevant to the specific issue of a metadata extension. It's sitting in the same metadata file as anything else, you can't have it "sort of load" the metadata and somehow not see just that part because of a permission problem. Between fail very obviously and work fine, there's not a lot of wiggle room on this without very obvious errors in the log about invalid metadata or whatever.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Obviously not surprised it worked, but I don't see how on earth it could be failing in only that specific way. But full disclosure I have never run the IdP without write access to the overall directory tree, not in my entire history with the project in development or production on any version dating back to 1.0. So I don't know what the issues might be with that.</p>
