<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">The memory usage doesn't grow linearly, the problem is the size during parsing and that can get much larger fast.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">The other point is that this isn't saying you need 2G for any single metadata source necessarily, but in a real deployment, you may have multiple sources, some large and some not as large, and all of them together plus the runtime overhead of the system can definitely take 1.5G or more right now.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">I think V3 in general just takes significantly more than V2 did because of the overhead of the flows and the prototype beans at runtime.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">I can vouch that my deployment isn't working with 1.5G and time will tell if it works with 2.</p>
