<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">The reason to have it in one entry in audit.xml was that if it appeared in others it changed %HASHEDu from a single value into a multiple value variable (map?). <br /> It appeared to behave in an additive fashion which in turn when output in the specified format duplicated the exact same value separated by commas which of course is not what is desired because it breaks the F-TICKS format</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">I'm not sure if this will happen in the way it was integrated in the code as I'm not familar with the under the hood operations. The easy way to check it is to see the output of the fticks file for the hashed user value to be singular and not repeated.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">As a 2nd aside, It's a bit hard to backtrace the origin of the % values without a lot of digging. Not sure if this would be a documentation item or a pointer to where they can be found as it my be cryptic to end users on what the % values are. More a usability/understanding of the code for variables that can be used.</p>
