<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">The relyingparty is proving problematic. I'd like to make the base parsers for MetadataProviders externally visible since they have support for the "exist in RelyingParty.xml or as a metadata-providers.xml" code. But that means some rejigging of the QNames (as was needed for the Attribute Filters) and, critically it would mean making </p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">net.shibboleth.idp.saml.metadata.impl.RelyingPartyMetadataProvider<br /> and<br /> org.opensaml.saml.metadata.resolver.filter.impl.MetadataFilterChain</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Which doesn't fill me with joy (particularly the last). </p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">If we look forward to native configuration the former would need to be make visible (since it is what is looked for when building the service, and the latter becomes important if people want more than one filter).</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">My current inclination is to just move the AbstractMetadataProviderParser and AbstractReloadingMetadataProviderParser into impl and tell people that we don't support people writing MetadataProviders.</p>
