<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Yes, as Brent said, what I did was set it as a context parameter, not a servlet parameter. Global rather than local. By the time all our stuff loads at the context level, idp.home already has to be set, so you can't just set it at servlet scope.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Re: the classpath* thing, that's what Spring seems to have built in support for in a very specific case, that is, loading resources into an ApplicationContext to populate it. There must be special code in the loader to handle that case and walk the classpath's full list of resources coming back.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">That's what makes it different from Tom's use case returning a particular Resource since that API is narrowed to return just the one Resource, and that's why I suggested we handle that with a different notation so we're not confusing two different mechanisms, one Spring supports natively and one we're using in our own logic for webflow-config.</p>
