<li>Reboot.</li>
<li>Shib still running.</li>

<p>So I expect that there is some horrendousness between the JRE, the JDK and procrun. I have a bad feeling that 32 and 64 bit-ness and mixed-mode is also in the loop.</p>
<p>So bottom line, install by pointing to the JRE or the JDK. Upgrade the JRE automatically via the sun upgrade thing. Upgrade the JDK by hand. All seems to work as you might expect .</p></div>
