<p>Again, I don't know what the expectation is for the installer, since unless it's asking for the AD cert, there really isn't going to be a working system out of the box. Perhaps it should ask for that.</p>

<p>But in terms of this setting right now, the problem is that we've baked in a ton of assumptions through the code that ipd.home is either a path with no prefix or a classpath:// URI. This is to avoid the Windows problems we'll hit by trying to use <a href="file://" class="external-link">file://</a> URIs, they just aren't reliable.</p>

<p>We probably need to park this and discuss on Friday to decide what to do, but with regard to code fixes, the best scenario by far is if the resource path here works like the rest of the IdP resources do if that's in any way possible.</p></div>
