<p>Our IdP also has remote attribute filters configured and all 230 IdPs in our production federation too. It's probably feasible to reproduce the bug with that kind of configuration.</p>
<p>Good to hear V3 does not have this bug. However we'll have to wait some years until most institutions upgrade their IdP to V3. Not sure we can live with that risk in the meanwhile.</p>
<p>As a federation operator with 99% of Shibboleth IdPs, we'd be grateful if this bug could be fixed in 2.x version.</p></div>
