<p>My idea wasn't to load the config files into both services, but to build a mapper service abstraction that we inject the existing resolver service into, and internally stores the built mapper and checks for changes like the node processor does.</p>

<p>This would not be a reloadable service, just a pinnable component so there's a clear signal when to check for changes.</p></div>
