<p>I did all of the proposed changes, renaming RequestedAttributeInMetadata to MappedAttributeInMetadata, which seems more accurate.</p>
<p>The old AttributeInMetadata function now works similarly to V2, with slightly more limited value handling because there's no toString() method to rely on in the IdPAttributeValue layer. It now supports look-aside to a different RequestedAttribute or implicit matching based on walking the encoders. I had to add public accessors to the AttributeEncoder SAML subtypes to expose the attribute name and namespace/format fields to do the matching into metadata.</p>
<p>I removed the EntityAttributeInMetadata version on the basis that it's largely unnecessary since nobody's going to add the right config to get them mapped back into IdPAttributes anyway.</p>
<p>One missing piece from the renamed MappedAttributeInMetadata function is the ability to look-aside to a different mapped attributeID from the metadata. That's confusing because it's not the purpose of the attributeID in the schema from before, which is the opposite: it's a look-aside to a different IdPAttribute on the unfiltered side than the one being examined in an AttributeRule. If I want to do this, I could call it mappedID I guess. I'm not sure for the moment it matters that much to have it.</p>
