<p>Only the batch resolvers (subclasses of AbstractBatchMetadataResolver) currently support the iteration via implementing the IterableMetadataSource interface.  That's pretty much all of the existing concrete resolvers except 1) the Chaining- and Composite- ones, and 2) the dynamic one(s).  The former however expose the resolver list so can just iterate that.</p>

<p>It doesn't make sense to me that the dynamic one(s) would support iteration, at least not the way it was intended.  The only thing you could do is support iterating the metadata that they just happened to have been asked for and which are currently sitting in the cache, at that particular moment in time.  Which doesn't really seem right to me, esp vis-a-vis duplicate detection, but we can discuss more if someone feels differently.  For duplicate detection, it seems most sensible to me to just ignore any dynamic resolvers.</p></div>
