<p>So the new plan is to move things up one level and provide support in the test framework for class-relative resource names in the package directory.  For example, a class under test called a.b.c.Foo might have a resource bar.xml which would be expanded to /a/b/c/Foo-bar.xml.</p>

<p>I have implemented a system like this in the ukf-mda project, and will now port it over to Shibboleth MDA. I will also refactor those tests which had been reorganised along the previously planned lines (ContactPersonFilterStage, ElementFormattingStage, EntitiesDescriptorAssemblerStage) in order to get rid of the collision warnings we're currently seeing. I'll come back to other tested classes as appropriate but in particular when I need to do anything else with them.</p></div>
