        <div class="comment-block" style="background-color:#edf5ff;border:1px solid #dddddd;color:#000000;padding:12px;"><p>I'll to duplicate this.  My instinct is that we are OK in the cases where we are writing our own parsers since there is code in there to force the id which we specify to be the spring id and hope/suspect/believe that the spring code will barf if it sees two spring ids with the same name.  The issue with the attribute mapping beans is that that there no special code to parse it and so we cannot set that call programatically.   There may be an attribute we can set at the &lt;beans&gt; level to say "take this p:attribute and use it as the spring name.  </p>

<p>But I may be confused and in all cases much more research is needed - I'll report back here.  Also even if we serendipitously get the correct answer (no attributes with the same Id) we may want to check against it.</p></div>
