<p>As far as the confientiality/integrity question, it seems like it's not been entirely accurate to rely on the bindings for that, because of some of the edge cases like SOAP (used with ECP, but really equivalent to front-channel there).</p>
<p>I haven't given any thought to alternatives though.</p>
<p>I'm not sure Spring would be aware of the encoders, isn't the factory class the bean, and then it just manufactures an encoder that would have to be saved off somehow to keep it?</p></div>
