Seems like that was a conscious decision. I'm inclined not to remove that, at least now.</p>
<p>Given that, the class should also have a 'final' override for hashCode(). Unfortunately, the 'final' part would be a potentially breaking change. So in v2 I'll add just the override, if it will make findbugs happy. In v3 I'll make it 'final'.</p></div>
