<p>I just wanted to point out that, per the intention of the current release process as document by Chad, once we lock a new x.0 minor version against a particular tagged parent version, all patch releases in that minor version will use that parent version. I.e., we don't use a newer version of the parent in a patch release than was locked in the initial X.0.0 release.</p>
<p>So whatever we release with next week re: Maven plugin versions is what we're stuck with for the life of OpenSAML 2.6.x and IdP 2.4.x Unless we overrule the current policy and decide otherwise. Just wanted to make sure we're all on the same page.</p></div>
