As mentioned in slack idp.target.dir still works. idp.src.dir is no longer available.

the only supported way is to run install.sh in the bin directory of the distro, but what you probable want is --srcPath as per install.sh

"$JAVACMD" '-classpath' "$LOCALCLASSPATH" net.shibboleth.idp.installer.impl.IdPInstallerCLI --ansi --sourceDir "$LOCATION/.." "$@"
