opensaml-core:3.4.6 depends on io.dropwizard.metrics:metrics-core:3.1.5, which uses sun.misc.Unsafe. metrics stopped using Unsafe in 3.2.0: https://github.com/dropwizard/metrics/pull/966/commits

opensaml users can override transitive dependency versions, but I think opensaml should work without the jdk.unsupported module out of the box.
