Disabling trust sounds good, I don’t really care about the PKI level validation of the remote server but would rather keep things encrypted on the wire in general. I wouldn’t really want to set up a specific CA to trust as a workaround though. If this broke all the time I’d probably just switch the URL to http, but it’s only a couple times a year so far.
