I assume it’s validating it against something, which is to say the “fix” for this is probably to add the disregardTlsConnection option (or whatever it’s called now) and see if that prevents the error, which is useful information to have.

For one thing, anything using the Java store at this point is a bug anyway, as that’s meant to be disallowed so I want to determine what we’re doing.

I’m not doing anything like this myself so the fact that I have never seen this may or may not be interesting information too.
