I had a naïve view during V4 development that people would write extensions to the installer.

This never happened and rather people because enamored of property driven installs ( IDP-1996 ( https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/browse/IDP-1996 ) Open )

This artificial interface/impl division just makes life needlessly hard.

In V5 we’ll keep all the code as impl
