As discussed, I don't intend to go down this road, we're going to modularize all the files so the originals are copied into the usual places rather than this.

It is super important that people *stop* obsessing over updating files. The whole point is to be compatible, and not have to do that every time. When updates are really needed, which is almost always majors only, we will document that very clearly.
