It turns out that using Modules is *really* easy. This is really cool since it allows you to turn modules on (and indeed off) as part o the tests.

What is harder is to prove the code because we cannot copy the directory tree (because of Java’s insistence that there is no such thing as a current directory).

I’ll commit what I have once I’m happy with it; with the putative “what to turn on when there is an master module” code commented out.

I'll then liaise with Scott Cantor ( https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?accountId=557058%3A5b78efc9-1379-42cc-a3f6-56c6ea3a0007 ) on testing this (I’ll probably mock up code to copy idp-conf/src/main/resources and idp-conf/src/test/resources ) just to convince myself that this all works.
