I think, given the rareness it is easier to just edit this for each major.

I could imagine some cut static initialization to look at Version.getVersion() but TBH this gives me the heeby-jeebies

* This function returns a null string when run form eclipse which makes for extra (mostly pointless) work to get things like tests working
* This code is liable to be called within an Installer or a plugin Installer and in both cases the classpath loaders can (or will) get very complicated (“tell me about the installer version”, “tell me about the the about-to-be-installer version”). This could cause all sorts of difficult to diagnose issues.
* it feels needlessly cute - I have too many scars from needlessly cute code.

So my propose (happy to be told otherwise) is to:

* Assign the case to myself
* Make the change (now that there is a wiki)
* Resolve this case
* Enter a new case either against an explicit V6 or with a null Fix Version
