Ah, must be a Debian build thing, I don’t think Red Hat builds curl with HTTP/2 support. I suspect there’s an issue in the code making the ETag work with HTTP/2 and so turning that off forces it back to 1.1 and then it works.

We haven’t ever tested anything on HTTP/2 so I imagine that’s the bug. I'm surprised it’s working at all.

That suggests a direction at least but will make debugging it harder since I don’t have HTTP/2 library support for the Windows build.
