We don’t go digging for packages, we use what’s in the base install to determine what to build and it’s never included the memcache package. The question is whether those PowerTools packages are official and maintained or not. If they are we can consider it, but…

Just don’t. There is no reason to use this. It isn’t reliable, and it never will be. If you need to cluster the SP but somehow ignore your application layer, just use the cookie recovery feature for that going forward.
