I adjusted the issue to reflect the underlying problem. Clearly the best thing by far is get away from the Nimbus decoder and allow the resource parameter to be a string, just to acknowledge that the OAuth interactions have a mismatch we can’t easily overcome.

I wonder if it’s possible for us to subclass those decoders somehow to just override specific constraints.
