The script-friendly getSubcontext methods on BaseContext were defined to throw ClassNotFoundExceptions under certain conditions. This was intended to change at some point and match the nullable semantics of the other methods, since scripting isn’t that friendly to exception handling anyway.

It should log a warning on this to facilitate debugging.
