Ooh sneaky. The file is marked as delete so DS doesn't do the zeroing (premature optimization strikes AGAIN). Isolate does so the cleanup does a zero.

Turning the delete on close off makes that work but oddly enough it then whines when it gets deleted (presumably because FAT has returned the old VDL because the Paging write doesn’t update VDL)
