Background: if XML and JSON are kind of comparable terms, would jose be the closest match to xmlsec? As noted by Philip Smart ( https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?accountId=5afecdc1eb3ffa0c596652c4 ) , xmlsec is already used opensaml’s package name for encryption/decryption/etc configurations.
