It will require reworking the patch a bit to preserve existing method signatures and make the former ones deprecated for 4.x. Maxime Besson ( https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?accountId=632ca15b748d1bfcb85792a9 ) do you have any input on target version? If you don’t mind waiting for 5.0 then I’ll let it stand as is.
