My memory was wrong. Because the netty jars are not defined in our pons we don’t care about the version or about the funky classifiers in the dependency check. In the distribution signature check however we do and I have entered https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/browse/JMVN-42 ( https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/browse/JMVN-42 ) for that

I’ve made the jar name to group mapping changes (to artifactMap.properties in the java-mvn-enforcer-data project and the current build now fail in m2 signature checking (if it was on we would fail in distribution signature checking) because of

netty-transport-classes-epoll : 4.1.75.Final   KeyId (0xF3D1600878E85A3D) not found in keyring for io.netty
netty-transport-native-epoll  : 4.1.75.Final (linux-x86_64) KeyId (0xF3D1600878E85A3D) not found in keyring for io.netty

The git tags aren’t signed. I haven’t had a chance to track down whether the signature is available anywhere. I’ll ask Daniel Fisher ( https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?accountId=70121%3A5040b2f7-37ad-4449-b621-76b5c7e66a9d ) about this in the parent case.
