Been a long time since I have done anything with Windows, but I thought there was a way to have a root-like account impersonate a lower-privilege one at runtime. The model with Linux obviously isn’t password-based, you just setuid to the other user most of the time, or run as a service account that has no password. I was assuming something similar here.
