Switching to Predicate::apply certainly works, but given that this is sort of a canary identifying the fact that something is wrong in the build, it’s probably best to leave it. I don’t know Android at all so it’s hard for me to even know what the implications would be, we probably wouldn’t run properly there anyway if they don’t support Java 8 fully (really 11 now, and soon 17).
