I’ve dumped out 8 different installer between 2.0 (built with the WYSE tool) and 3.4 and there is no evidence of explicit permissions in any of them.

I also eyeballed the VbScript which we run and I cannot see any evidence of ACLs being played with.

I’ve made the (5 line) change to lock down the install dir and I ‘just’ need to test (which of course means building 3.4 + all its dependencies - “I may be some time”)
