After discussion on the dev call; it is unlikely the PKIXX trust engine will be needed, at least not in the short term.

A lot of it is just a duplication of existing opensaml code which might be better refactored if some of the existing APIs changed (e.g. for v5). If you have time to look at the existing credential resolution and ‘jku’ resolution in the JOSE header, that would be great.
