I thought I’d drop in a status post.

I now have just one more Gradle 7 incompatibility left to resolve before I can move to a more modern version that could support Java 17. This is down to the “maven” packaging plugin being removed in Gradle 7, to be replaced by something with completely different functionality introduced back in 2017.
