FWIW, it oddly appears as though 2.3.0 reverts the change that I hit in 2.2 that required a cast (at least I don’t see the compile error).

It does introduce a change that I doubt we are unhappy about, they removed http and local file resolution by default. We seem to have one test for detached signatures (which aren’t of course a thing in SAML) that breaks because of that. I don’t know how you re-enable that, or if we even care.
