My understanding is that this bug does not affect how the module works and that the module is indeed the correct one for apache 2.4 , i.e., it’s just an incorrect warning. Please confirm (or correct).

I don’t see this issue mentioned on the release notes page https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SP3/pages/2065335693/ReleaseNotes#3.3.0-(November-30,-2021) It would be a good idea to include it there (and any other known issues). This would help prevent confusion and reduce the number of bug reports.

Due to the way this particular server is managed, programs generally have to be installed via rpm, instead of from source or via git. Do you know what the time line is for having the Fix version available via rpm?
