So I agree with Scott and Rod in that (a) I do not think the attached classifier JAR is supposed to help with dependency versions and (b) the proper way to do that is via idp-war-distribution.

I am thinking we will close this issue as “won’t do”, given the proper way (idp-war-distribution) is already provided.
