It’s possible this functionality could be implemented in a ResultHandler , but I’m not clear enough on how this works to say anything yet.

At a high level how does this reduce query times? Are clients expected to handle the ERROR_DS_NON_BASE_SEARCH result and then follow up with an additional query for each entry that has fBASEONLY set?
