Dan McLaughlin ( https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?accountId=557058%3A3a8d6dab-64f5-4a62-a23e-1603099d1796 ) Discussed today, there’s no objection to this once you can confirm the jar you get is empty, as seems to be the expected result.

We can’t officially support this because we think it’s a Maven accident more or less, but if it works for the moment that’s fine.
