Once the context tree and this work has settled I’ll take a look (I may need a steer as where to go). I suppose if time is going to be an issue I could get everything except the actual predicate done ahead of time (Schema, parser, doc), then the work consists of wiring up the population of the filter context and the diving in to it.

(I’m assuming that no matter what we will be leaving the option of injecting the navigation into the configuration - even if it isn’t used initially).
