As to vulnerabilities, hard to say. I scanned some of the lists of resolved issues and apart from finding some stuff about their new automated release system ( ! ) I didn’t see anything, but it’s really hard to say from just looking at the titles of Jira issues.

That seems to imply that there have only ever been a couple of CVEs reported against Hibernate (perhaps explaining why their security posture is the way it is, they’re just not at a place in the stack where they are exploitable) and both in releases before the one we currently ship.
