Customers have occasonally stumbled on the problem of wanting to introduce a pre-stage to authentication that collects the username first, in order to do some kind of directory lookup to decide how to continue. Actually using this without breaking SSO would take more of a user-case-specific amount of scripting, but assuming that’s done, actually mocking something like this up as a feature mightn’t not be too hard. It may be better left as an example, not sure yet.
