As documented on https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IDP4/pages/1294074654/AccountLockoutManagement ( https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IDP4/pages/1294074654/AccountLockoutManagement ) the IdP can lock out users with too many failed login attempts. There is also the lockout manager HTTP endpoint ( /idp/profile/admin/lockout/shibboleth.authn.Password.AccountLockoutManager ) that can be used to remove the lock.

To remove a lock one has to know the users username and the IP address. Knowing the IP Address of the user is not always easily possible without parsing log files on several IdP instances. It would be useful if the lockout manager would present a list of locked accounts when queried with HTTP GET. This way, identifying a locked account by its username would easier allow to unlock the account.
