bin/module.sh --help reports -u, --disable <id> [,<id>] Disable module(s) as valid usage. However, calling bin/module.sh -u idp.admin.Hello gives:

bin/module.sh -u idp.admin.Hello                                                             
INFO  - Skipping non-existent resource: class path resource [-u]
...

and then proceeds as if no options were given.

bin/module.sh --disable does work as expected (as does the -e idp.admin.Hello counterpart for --enable).

In general, it seems that any unknown argument (long- or short-form) is interpreted as a class path resource.
