I perfectly agree on your considerations about the exp claim.

The customer is still willing to release it in order to assert that “that’s true now and for some minutes”, without being really able to tie the metadata (expiry) to the data. Nonetheless we’ve received this requirement: we’ll try to dispute that again and if we fail we’ll have to find a way to release such a claim.
