That’s very unlikely to be fixable. If it’s not there, it’s not there. There are exception handling mechanisms in place for some errors that route out to the servlet layer and are not part of Spring. This is one of them. I’ll leave it open until somebody confirms that, but you should assume it’s working as expected.
